I have practised yoga for nine years, mainly studying Iyengar, Ashtanga
Vinyasa and Shadow Yoga.
I have taught yoga part time since 2003. My qualifications include a
British Wheel of Yoga teaching diploma/Yoga Alliance 200 hour teaching
certificate, and 200 hours of study in teaching Shadow Yoga. I teach a slow
yet challenging form of hatha yoga based on the principles of Shadow Yoga.
It focuses on developing core strength, and reducing blockages in the
Bodymind through safely working in a sequential manner depending on the
abilities of each individual. I also teach in Brixton, and have taught in
community venues, as well as Health and Fitness Centres and yoga centres.
I have a current first aid certificate and an enhanced police check.
