strenghtens core muscle groups. Mix of barre, floor and
stretch exercises for all ages and levels.

The Lotte Berk Method combines elements from modern and
classical dance, orthopaedic back exercises and Hatha yoga.
It is a low-impact extraordinarily effective program that
firms, lengthens and shapes muscles within weeks of
starting the Method.
The exercises are designed to achieve a lean, supple and
toned look by:
· stretching and
shaping the body
· strengthening
the abdominal muscles
· toning the
thighs and bottom
· improving
mobility and flexibility
· increasing
stamina and co-ordination for other sports
All the exercises are done on the floor, either
standing, sitting or lying down. A ballet barre
is often used for support and mirrors enable teachers and
participants to check their movements.
Age, fitness and shape is not important, and everyone
works at their own pace within a class, which is taken by
Jenny Parsons, an experienced teacher. Best
results are achieved by regular attendance. å
